Vinted Users Voice Anger Over Size Modifications
Vinted users have been reacting angrily due to a modification that led to items being listed as the wrong size.
The popular resale platform has updated its sizing categories for women's and children's clothes without notifying all shoppers about the modification.

Numerous buyers and vendors are posting online saying Vinted listings now show a modified sizing category than originally posted due to the recalibration.
Vinted explained the new system was more in line with similar services.
They have suggested members to review their products and update the measurements by hand where appropriate, resulting in member annoyance.
Size Classification Updates
Previously, the measurements included numerical and alphabetical indicators, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The new system has a letter with a size spectrum such as S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the measurements have been reclassified - like an L measurement was formerly size 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.
Member Accounts
One content creator, who produces content about larger sizing, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Not many brands say XL is a 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
A different member, located in Scotland, explained products she uploaded featuring size 14 markings were showing in the marketplace as larger sizing 20-22.
"If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they may become frustrated," she explained.
Required Changes
Charlotte Lunn, located in England, stated she felt frustrated because the modification necessitated personal updates the sizing for "all her products".
"For me this is particularly frustrating, because of my ongoing medical condition and Vinted sales have been crucial for me since losing part of my income," she said.
Service Background
The service features exceeding 100 million members, with 18 million British users.
It has proved a popular alternative compared to resale services such as eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance where an unanticipated change to the app has proved unpopular: last year, the service retracted a modification concerning shipment methods due to shopper criticism.
