I'll overwhelm 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
